Music and Nature

The reality of nature presents itself to us on different levels of different complexity, of varying differentiation, and of different integrity: of different effectiveness.

Conveying Truth in Music
Music expresses these levels of nature – subjective as well as objective, individual as well as social or ecological – on separate, different levels of the musical expression.

Corresponding to nature, music uses fields of varying density.

This means, music has levels of varying differentiation, varying integrity, varying complexity and varying effectiveness.

Natural Order in Music
These levels of musical expression we call the “musical force-fields,” and they include the force-fields of the tones, of the motifs, of the melodies, of the sequences, and of the harmony.
